How to do your makeup for an interview

Have you ever wondered how much makeup is too much makeup for a job interview? The best way is to keep it simple. Not adding fake eyelashes like you’re going out straight after an interview for sure!

All you will need for a simple makeup is:

  • Moisturiser
  • Foundation
  • Concealer
  • Powder
  • Blusher
  • Mascara

Depending on how confident you are with your skin, it can be optional to wear foundation to cover flaws on the face. Apply the makeup products listed in the order of the list as you usually would and you will be makeup ready for your interview. Don’t forget the best makeup you can ever wear is your smile!

Here is the step by step guide for the simple makeup look

Step 1

Apply moisturiser all over your face

Step 2

With a foundation brush or sponge blend your foundation well into your face and neck

Step 3

Create an upside down triangle shape under your eyes with concealer and blend

Step 4

Cover face with translucent powder to set makeup

Step 5

Add a little bronzer and blusher to your cheeks to give a bit of colour

Step 6

Coat your lashes with mascara to make them stand out, et voila!

no need to focus too hard on your makeup as the employer cares more about you as a person than your looks. So make sure you have practiced well before you go into that interview room and get that job!
